Deanta is an Irish traditional music band from Northern Ireland, active from 1980 until 1997 and reunited in 2008. The name "Deanta", in Irish, means "done" or "completed". The band was an integral part of the Irish traditional music scene, signing with Green Linnet Records and releasing three albums that blended traditional tunes and songs with arrangements sometimes veering towards a contemporary setting.
