Bananarama is an English pop music group formed in London in 1981. The original lineup consisted of Siobhan Fahey, Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward. Their period of greatest international success spanned from 1982 to 1989. They have released nine albums in total, including their debut album *Deep Sea Skiving* (1983), *Bananarama* (1984) and *True Confessions* (1986), which generated their biggest commercial and critical successes with singles such as «Shy Boy», «Cruel Summer» and «Venus».
