Gorefest was a Dutch death metal band from the Zeeland region of the Netherlands, founded in 1988 by De Koeyer, Harthoorn, van Schaik and Hoogendoorn. The band went through several musical evolutions, moving from classic death metal to progressive and doom metal sounds. Some of their most representative songs include "Terrified", "The Last Supper" and "Mindloss". Gorefest released several successful albums, including "False" (1990), "Love Will Kill" (1992) and "Soul Survivor" (1994). The band disbanded in 1998 but reunited in 2015.
