Protoje, real name Oje Ken Ollivierre, is a Jamaican singer and record producer born in Kingston in 1987. Considered one of the leading figures in contemporary reggae music, Protoje stands out for his introspective and socially conscious music, characterized by poetic lyrics and engaging melodies. His career began in the early 2000s with the release of several mixtapes, culminating in his official debut in 2011 with the album "The 7 Year Itch".
