Emigrate is a rock band based in New York, led by Richard Z. Kruspe, the lead guitarist of the German band Rammstein. Founded in 2009, Emigrate represents a departure from Rammstein's heavy metal style, exploring more electronic and melodic sounds influenced by 1980s synth-rock. Kruspe collaborates with other musicians for the albums, including Andy LaPlegua (Covenant) and Tim Skold (KMFDM).
