Mr Papel, all'anagrafe Marco Melani, è un musicista polistrumentista e cantautore romano. Inizia lo studio del pianoforte classico in tenera età, influenzando profondamente il suo percorso musicale. Parallelamente alla musica, si dedica al lavoro di fonico teatrale, collaborando con diverse compagnie in tournée nazionali e componendo colonne sonore che gli valgono riconoscimenti e premi in varie rassegne. Romano di nascita ma cosmopolita per attitudine, vive a Buenos Aires, Londra, Parigi, New York e Varsavia, arricchendo il suo bagaglio culturale e artistico. Laureato in Architettura, trova ispirazione nelle forme e strutture dei luoghi che visita, creando un'originale connessione estetica tra musica ed architettura. Fondatore e frontman dei Papel, gruppo alternative rock con influenze diverse (Radiohead, Cure, Smiths, Sigur Ros), dopo numerosi live in Italia e all'estero, apre per band internazionali come i Pete and the Pirates (Teleman) e gli Love is all. Nel 2019 decide di intraprendere un percorso solista, pubblicando il singolo "Ricordi che non ho", apripista del suo EP d'esordio prodotto da Mob Studios e PaKo Music Records.
