Simian was an English electronic rock band formed in Manchester in 2000. The group consisted of James Ford (vocals, keyboards), Sam 'The Kid' (drums) and Nick 'The Kid' (bass). Simian gained notoriety with the single "James Bond Theme", a reinterpretation of the James Bond theme music that became an international hit in 2003. The band released three studio albums: *Adventures in the Land of the Lost* (2001), *Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Simian* (2003) and *The Sound of a Thousand Screams* (2005). Simian disbanded in 2006. James Ford continued his musical career as a producer and member of the band Klaxons.
