Michel Berger, nato Michel Jean Hamburger (Parigi, 1953 – Parigi, 1992), è stato un cantautore e produttore discografico francese. Considerato uno dei massimi esponenti della musica pop francese, ha raggiunto il successo negli anni '70 e '80 con brani come "Lucie", "Le Paradis blanc" e "On ira". Berger ha collaborato con numerosi artisti, tra cui France Gall, di cui è stato marito dal 1980 al 1986. La sua musica è caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, testi poetici e un'influenza evidente del rock progressivo. Oltre a comporre per sé stesso, Berger ha scritto canzoni per altri artisti, tra cui Dalida e Sheila. Tra i suoi album più importanti ricordiamo "L'amour à la française" (1980) e "Michel Berger" (1982). La sua scomparsa prematura all'età di 39 anni ha lasciato un vuoto nel panorama musicale francese.
