Big Dismal era una band di rock cristiano post-grunge con sede in Florida. Il gruppo comprendeva Eric Durrance (voce), Chuck Shea (chitarra), Gary Sobel (basso) e Jeff Chomin (batteria). Prima di firmare con Wind-Up Records, il progetto era principalmente un'attività solista di Durrance nella scena locale di Tallahassee.
