Pupil is a Filipino rock band formed in the 1990s. The group consists of Ely Buendia (vocals and guitar), Yan Yuzon (lead guitar), Dok Sergio (bass) and Wendell Garcia (drums). Considered one of the most influential bands in the Philippine music scene, Pupil has helped define the alternative rock sound of the country. Their musical style is characterized by energetic riffs, introspective lyrics and an atmosphere charged with energy. Among Pupil's most well-known songs are "Apat", "Tayo Na", "Huwag Kang Mag-alala" and "Wag Ka Nang Umiyak".
