Another way to go, the weight won't show.
A cheapskate's guide to the kissing zone.
I didn't come back.
Babe, don't you move at all when I do.
I'll make some buildings fall.
Will the pieces stick to you, can they bring you back to size?
If I tear a hole straight through, will you pretend to be alive?
Make a fire in the quiet sky. Ow!
Kick a boy and teach him how to cry.
A heavy metal rain upon your head.
A burning blast to bring you back from the dead.
You used to kill me with your smile,
I'll be back in a while to take you out in style.
Will the pieces stick to you, can they bring you back to size?
If I tear a hole straight through, would you pretend to be alive? Wo!
Make a fire in the quiet sky...sky.
Kick a boy and teach him how to cry.
Oh, wo-wo-wo-wo, I'll make some buildings fall.
Will the pieces stick to you, can they bring you back to size?
If I...if I tear a hole straight through, would you pretend to be alive? Wo!
Make a fire in the quiet sky...sky!
Kiss a boy and teach him how to cry.
The Blake Babies were an alternative rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986. The primary members were John Strohm, Freda Love (born Freda Boner) and Juliana Hatfield. Evan Dando, Andrew Mayer, Seth White, Anthony DeLuca (who played drums in place of Freda for the group's last European tour in early 1992) and Mike Leahy also performed as members of the band at various times during its history. Their music was characterized by catchy melodies, introspective lyrics and a pop-rock sound with indie influences. Among their most representative songs are "He Hit Me (And It Felt Like a Kiss)", "The Boy Who Loved the Moon" and "I'm Not Your Girl". The band released three studio albums: "Cloud of Blue" (1989), "Teenage Symphonies to God" (1990) and "A Little Bit of Everything" (1992). The Blake Babies contributed to defining the indie rock sound of the 1990s, influencing numerous subsequent bands.
