Reasoning is wrong aside from anything that's rightly named
Deniably insane. So lost, you're torn away
Your sympathy is strange, it's so unlike you still to be the same
Fight the urge to change and leave another day
It's not hard
It's not so appealing
To play it straight ahead it doesn't make it true
You're throwing your charm away
You turned into a scatterbrain
I don't know why, I don't know why
You're telling me it's all the same
By throwing all your charm away
Don't turn into a scatterbrain
I don't know why, I don't know why
You're telling me it's all the same
By throwing your charm away, don't turn into a scatterbrain
I don't know why, I don't know why, don't ask me why
Lately you've been hard to find
You're hiding from what's left behind
You're falling into habits I don't understand
Crazy as it seems, I'm not sure it's what I don't believe
Afraid the day is gone before you start again

Bill Priddle, co-founder of the band, left in 2003. Initially their musical style was melodic indie rock, which later evolved into a pop punk/nu metal hybrid after signing with a major label in 1997. Their debut album, "Treble Charger" (1994), marked the beginning of their career, while "Head Like A Hole" (1998) was their most commercially successful album.
