Epica is a Dutch symphonic metal band active since 2002. Their sound combines elements of heavy metal with classical and orchestral melodies, creating an epic and immersive experience. The group consists of Simone Simons (vocals), Mark Jansen (guitar), Coen Janssen (keyboards), Rob van der Loo (bass) and Ariën van Weesenbeek (drums).
