I won't be here when the morning comes
Maybe that's how it should be
So hold me close it's our last show
And set me free when you let go
Here comes the snow
September's gone
I've been roaming around with my head down
Thinking about every word I said out loud
(Every single word now)
At the end of the road the tanks run out
Yeah, the tanks gone dry
I guess I'll reap what I saw
Here comes the drought, yeah
And whеn I told you that California's on my mind
We sat and cried while rеminiscing on the best days of our lives
I won't be here when the morning comes
(Comes, comes, comes)
Maybe that's how it should be
(Be, be, be)
So hold me close it's our last show
And set me free when you let go
Here comes the snow
September's gone
So wake me up when September ends
I miss my baby, I miss my friends
Temptations calling only been a week
Hoping that I wake up and you'll be right next to me, I
I think I'm falling in a deep abyss
Faces in a bottle so my problems won't exist
But aye, but I gotta do my shit
Yeah, they said I dream too big but I can't resist
Wondering if you moved on yeah
How can I live?
Now it's October
And my soul was left behind
All alone reminiscing on the best days of my life
I won't be here when the morning comes
And maybe that's how you it should be
I'm seeing ghosts
My eyes gone cold
You set me free I'm on my own
Here comes the snow
September's gone
