Enslavement of Beauty è una band norvegese di symphonic black metal formatasi a gennaio 1995 da Ole Alexander Myrholt (voce e testi) e Tony Eugene Tunheim (chitarre e composizione). Negli anni successivi, la band ha composto e registrato materiale, sviluppando il proprio stile. Nell'estate del 1998 hanno registrato il demo CD "Devilry and Temptation", che ha portato a un contratto con Head Not Found/Voices of Wonder. Questo ha portato alla pubblicazione nel 1999 di "Traces O' Red", accolto con grande favore dalla critica. Nel novembre 2000, la band è tornata in studio per registrare il secondo album, "Megalomania", con l'aggiunta del batterista Asgeir Mickelson (Borknagar/Spiral Architect) e del bassista Hans-Aage Holmen. Nel 2007 è stato pubblicato con successo il terzo album, "Mere Contemplations", con l'etichetta I.N.R.I. Unlimited.
