Today
She was perfect
The kind that gives your soul meaning and purpose
We met some years ago today
He was my close friend
My brother, a heart of gold
But he took her from me
They met some years ago today
Why would I want to go back?
Why would I want to go back in time or to tomorrow?
Why would I want to go back or worry about what the future holds?
When I can just take in today
A shiver of sharks swim, the ocean in the dark
Yet one night dispersing and now swim miles apart today
Why would I want to go back?
Why would I want to go back in time or to tomorrow?
Why would I want to go back or worry about what the future holds?
When I can just take in today
Her, Her
Somewhere in the ocean
Her, Her
I cannot get out of the sea.
Her, Her
She can smell my devotion as I bleed
Today
Hey you got me out of my head
