the precious gift of life
can turn against you the knife
of the faith in me that i showed you
counting the stars of broken promises
My words are praying for life
I still feel the pain of my tears
that fall in a liquid wall
that protects me and my soul
a red covered vision
predicts a collision
between my beloved dreams
and my wildest, darkest screams
the mighty Moon in the sky
is telling me to say goodbye
while the far and blinding Sun
is telling me it’s better not to run
show me my dream,
even if it’s the only thing you can’t tell me
this is the salvation of my gleam
I think the only way is to set me free
show me the success,
how can I reach your worth?
that's the salvation of my dignity
my only chance is to loose miserably
Efemeral is an Italian progressive rock band formed in 2021 from the ashes of Floating Minds, a Roman prog group. The current lineup includes Arianna De Lucrezia (bass and vocals), Andrea Di Fraia (guitar) and Gabriele Catania (keyboards). Their sound draws inspiration from the prog tradition of the 1970s, but with modern influences. Before moving to Boston's Berklee College of Music on a scholarship, Arianna De Lucrezia met Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, with whom she now collaborates. Efemeral has released two albums: "Guiding Ghost" (2022) and "Rounded With a Sleep" (2025), the latter featuring Ian Anderson on two tracks. In 2024 they were finalists in the Rock Targato Italia contest with the song "The Last Picture".
