mi ero distratto solo un secondo, l'attimo dopo ero già sepolto.

mi sentivo abbastanza tranquillo, ma dopo tre giorni non sono risorto.
È successo così all'improvviso, lo scorso sabato mattina
il mio cuore ha cessato di battere mentre giocavo la schedina
sono atterrato sul pavimento, come da un platano cadon le foglie
non ho nemmeno avuto il tempo di dare un ultimo bacio a mia moglie.
L?ambulanza è arrivata in ritardo, quando non c'era più niente da fare
solo chiamare le pompe funebri e organizzare il mio funerale, poi
prenotare la chiesa, avvisare i parenti, scrivere il necrologio,
qualcuno mi ha tolto il pigiama e infilato il completo, quello del matrimonio.

e stasera si va tutti al cinema, c'è il nuovo film di Pasolini!
Ieri per caso ho incontrato mio nonno, che un tempo ha fatto il partigiano,
mi ha chiesto: ?L?avete cambiato il mondo??
Nonno? lascia stare, dai 'ti offro un gelato!

ma ho realizzato dopo un secondo, che si sta meglio nell'altro mondo.
Ma se dovessi rinascere ancora, cosa mi importa del destino?
Cambierei sulla tomba la foto con quella faccia da cretino.
Certo, mi ero visto un po? pallido? pensavo fosse il neon dello specchio.
Il dottore me l'aveva detto: ?Fumi meno! Pochi alcolici!?
E chi fumava? Ero pure astemio.
Certo un po? di sport in più, meno televisione?
Quante cose avrei voluto fare che non ho fatto,
parlare di più con mio figlio, girare il mondo con mia moglie
lasciare quel posto alla Regione e vivere finalmente su un'isola?
