Dag Nasty was a Washington D.C. punk band formed in 1985. The group consisted of Brian Baker (guitar), from Minor Threat, Colin Sears (drums) and Roger Marbury (bass), both from Bloody Mannequin Orchestra, and Shawn Brown (vocals), later a member of Swiz and Jesuseater. Their musical style, characterized by a less aggressive and more melodic hardcore, influenced genres like emocore and post-hardcore. Among their most representative songs are "Just Say No", "Can't Get Enough" and "The Price of Peace". Dag Nasty released two studio albums: "Wig Out!" (1987) and "Milestones and Miracles" (1989).
