Xiu Xiu è un duo musicale statunitense formatosi a San Jose, California, nel 2002. Il progetto musicale vede la collaborazione di Jamie Stewart (voce, chitarra, tastiere) e Angela Seo (violino, violoncello, voce). Il nome del gruppo deriva dal film cinese *Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl* (1998), diretto da Joan Chen. La musica di Xiu Xiu è caratterizzata da un approccio sperimentale al rock, che fonde elementi di noise, post-punk, ambient e elettronica.
