Nasum è stato un gruppo musicale grindcore svedese formato ad Örebro nel 1992 da Anders Jakobson e Rickard Alriksson. La band ha raggiunto una certa notorietà nell'underground metal grazie al suo sound aggressivo e veloce, caratterizzato da influenze hardcore punk e death metal. Il cantante Mieszko Talarczyk, figura carismatica e iconica del grindcore, ha contribuito a definire l'identità musicale di Nasum con la sua voce potente e le sue performance energiche. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Inhale/Exhale", "The End" e "A New Dawn". La band ha pubblicato diversi album, tra cui "Helvete" (1996), "Breed" (2000) e "Live in Stockholm" (2003). La tragedia ha colpito la band nel 2004 quando Mieszko Talarczyk è morto durante il Maremoto dell'oceano Indiano.
