Amos Lee is an American singer-songwriter born in 1977. His gentle style fuses elements of jazz, folk and country. He began writing songs during his university studies, eventually abandoning a career in teaching to pursue music full-time. A self-produced five-song EP caught the attention of Blue Note Records and Norah Jones, who invited him to open for her on tour in 2004. Some of his most representative songs include "Trouble", "Sweet Pea" and "Keep It Loose". His debut album, "Amos Lee", was released in 2005 and achieved critical acclaim.
