Years and Years is a British music project founded by singer Olly Alexander. Initially conceived as a band, the sound evolved into a fusion of electropop, R and B and influences from 1990s house music, with echoes of artists like Flying Lotus, Diplo, Radiohead, Jai Paul and Jamiroquai. The project's debut came in 2013 with the single «Shine», followed by the self-titled debut album in 2015.
