I'd wipe your tear but this is just how I feel.
You should let go so you can hold on to what is real.
And they say all the facts are in
And this is where it ends
Maybe its best to be broken 'cause I know that we won't bend.
You should close the door
Or try a little more
Why we circle, I don't know
But I know if its too much to follow
Maybe it's best you don't stay close
'Cause you know you'll be missed.
You will be better than this.
You're so much better than this.
I just want out
But you're hard to resist.
You know I'm better than this.
You know me better than this.
I strike your fear 'cause you heart was set to feel.
Maybe this was just too fast too real.
Now you're blown down.
You're sick of changing.
I can see in your eyes
You're sick of the complaining.
You should close the door
And cry a little more
I'll make it up to you somehow
But for now, if its too hard to swallow
Maybe it's best you don't stay close
'Cause you know you'll be missed.
You will be better than this.
You're so much better than this
I just want out
But you're hard to resist
You know I'm better than this.
You know me better than this.
I swear I'll do nothing wrong.
Maybe your memories fade
Like all the pictures we take.
You still exist in my mind,
Even if I'm lost in yours,
Even if I'm lost in yours.
Stay close
'Cause you know you'll be missed.
You will be better than this.
You're so much better than this
I just want out
But you're hard to resist
You know I'm better than this.
You know me better than this.
