Savoy Brown is a British blues rock band formed in Battersea, London, in 1965. Considered part of the British blues scene of the 1960s, they achieved greater success in the United States with a series of boogie rock albums that became genre classics. The band has undergone continuous lineup changes over the years, the only stable member being guitarist and leader Kim Simmonds, until his death in 2023. Savoy Brown is known for its powerful and energetic blues sound, influenced by artists like Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.
