Clair, nome d'arte di Barbara Rizzo, è una cantante e autrice originaria di Paternò (CT). Si diploma in Canto presso il Conservatorio Statale "A. Corelli" di Messina nel 2011, costruendo una formazione solida che affonda le radici nella musica classica, sacra e operistica. Nel corso degli anni affianca all'attività artistica un percorso professionale nel mondo dell'educazione: si specializza sul sostegno nel 2020 e nel 2024 consegue l'abilitazione all'insegnamento di Educazione Musicale nella scuola secondaria di primo grado. Un doppio binario — artistico e pedagogico — che diventa progressivamente la cifra distintiva del suo lavoro. Parallelamente alla carriera didattica, Clair prende parte a numerosi eventi concertistici e produzioni musicali, esibendosi in ambito classico e operistico e dedicandosi, a partire dal 2013, alla fondazione e alla direzione di un coro di voci bianche, con un'attenzione particolare alla dimensione formativa e collettiva della musica. Negli ultimi anni la sua ricerca si concentra sulla scrittura e interpretazione di brani originali, in cui la musica diventa uno strumento di riflessione su temi sociali e interiori. "So Perfectly" (2025) affronta il tema della violenza di genere; "Never Give Up" (2025) è una dichiarazione a favore dell'identità e della responsabilità individuale. Con "Stop Anxiety", Clair prosegue questo percorso portando al centro della narrazione il tema dell'ansia come condizione diffusa e pervasiva, restituendole una forma sonora controllata, lucida, misurata. La sua voce — tecnica, ampia, sempre governata — riflette una visione della musica che non separa rigore e sensibilità, ma li mette in dialogo continuo. Un approccio che rende Clair una figura atipica nel panorama contemporaneo: un'interprete capace di tenere insieme pratica artistica, consapevolezza educativa e ricerca espressiva, senza concessioni all'enfasi o alla semplificazione.
