Clair, real name Barbara Rizzo, is an Italian singer and songwriter from Paternò (CT). She graduated in Singing from the "A. Corelli" State Conservatory of Messina in 2011, building a solid foundation rooted in classical, sacred, and operatic music. Over the years, she has combined her artistic activity with a professional path in education: specializing in support in 2020 and obtaining the teaching qualification for Music Education in lower secondary school in 2024. This dual track — artistic and pedagogical — gradually becomes the distinctive feature of her work. Alongside her teaching career, Clair participates in numerous concerts and musical productions, performing in classical and operatic contexts and, since 2013, dedicating herself to the founding and direction of a children's choir, with particular attention to the formative and collective dimension of music. In recent years, her research has focused on writing and interpreting original songs, in which music becomes a tool for reflection on social and personal themes. "So Perfectly" (2025) addresses the issue of gender violence; "Never Give Up" (2025) is a statement in favor of identity and individual responsibility. With "Stop Anxiety", Clair continues this path, bringing the theme of anxiety as a widespread and pervasive condition to the forefront of the narrative, giving it a controlled, lucid, measured sonic form. Her voice — technical, wide-ranging, always controlled — reflects a vision of music that does not separate rigor from sensitivity, but puts them in continuous dialogue. An approach that makes Clair a unique figure in the contemporary landscape: an interpreter capable of bringing together artistic practice, educational awareness and expressive research, without concessions to emphasis or simplification.
