Andrea Testa (nato nel 1966 in provincia di Milano) è un autore di canti religiosi e non, attivo da oltre trent'anni. La sua passione per la musica lo ha portato a studiare chitarra, basso elettrico, tastiera, flauto traverso e flicorno baritono. Fin da giovane si dedica all'animazione dei ragazzi nell'oratorio del suo paese, Vanzago, diventandone poi animatore ed educatore di gruppi di adolescenti e giovani. Dal 1986 al 1988 svolge il servizio civile presso la FOM - Fondazione Oratori Milanesi, rafforzando il suo impegno nell'animazione giovanile come strumento di trasmissione dei valori cristiani. Partecipa a numerosi incontri organizzati dalla Fimcap (Federazione Internazionale dei Movimenti Cattolici ad Azione Parrocchiale) acquisendo nuove tecniche nel campo dell'animazione e del canto religioso. I suoi canti, utilizzati nelle celebrazioni liturgiche e nei repertori di molte parrocchie in Italia, spaziano tra temi pastorali, liturgici e di animazione. Nel 2012, durante l'incontro con i cresimandi della Diocesi di Milano allo stadio G. Meazza, il suo canto "Sei Fuoco e Vento" viene scelto per l'apertura della manifestazione. Attualmente continua a collaborare con la Fondazione Oratori Milanesi scrivendo canti a supporto dei progetti e dei temi proposti agli oratori.
