Wherever the wind blows
When it blows over the sea
The moons sitting high
Waves will rise
Water shapes
Waves will take you, take you there
Surfs up tonight
Summers on hold
It will go running away
Youve gotta move now
Get inside
Take that dive
Get inside today
Surfs up tonight
Now I was lonely
And you were too
I met you down at the waterline
Now theres something we can do
Now theres something left to do
Oh yeah
Surfs up tonight
Wherever you are
When youre coming over land
Theres a place where you can throw it away
Theres a place you can forget
You get wet, its free
You get high, youre alive
Surfs up tonight
Come on up tonight
Surfs up tonight
