Gustavo Adrián Cerati (Buenos Aires, 11 agosto 1959 – ivi, 14 settembre 2010) è stato un cantautore, chitarrista e musicista argentino. Noto per la sua voce distintiva e le sue abilità musicali, ha raggiunto fama internazionale come frontman del gruppo rock Soda Stereo, attivo dal 1982 al 1997. Con Charly Alberti (batteria) e Zeta Bosio (basso), ha composto alcuni dei brani più iconici della musica argentina, influenzando generazioni di musicisti. Dopo la pausa di Soda Stereo, Cerati ha intrapreso una carriera solista di successo, pubblicando album come "Bocanada" (1999) e "Siempre es Hoy" (2006). È stato un artista poliedrico, sperimentando con diversi generi musicali, dal rock al pop elettronico. Alcuni dei suoi brani più rappresentativi includono "De Música Ligera", "En la Ciudad de la Furia", "Crimen", "No Voy a Llorar" e "Cosas Que Nunca Tuve". La sua musica ha attraversato i confini nazionali, conquistando un pubblico internazionale. Cerati è morto nel 2010 a seguito di un ictus.
