What's in my heart?
It's a frozen lake
What's in my heart?
It's a list of names with no ending
Just kept focusing on the sound of my voice
Dip your pen into the water
Watch the ink as it escapes its life
Can you relate all the secrets in your wake? Like
What's in my heart?
It's a long, long way into the past tense
And all this time, we watch go by
You're getting far away right beside me
A missing page of our mistakes
It's getting cold
Just kept holding onto the breath in your body
Place yourself und?r the water
Shed your thoughts and watch th?m drifting by
Like frozen lights
All those questions never thought, like
What's in my heart?
It's a frozen lake with no ending
All this time, we watch go by
You're getting far away right beside me
A missing page of our mistakes
It's getting cold outside in the summertime
The rivers dry but the subways are flooded
You walk the streets like a tall, thin flame
I searched the mirror but the mirror was empty
It's never as dark as the light from a cold white page
It's time, you're getting far away
It's time, it's time, it's time, it's time
Deep inside my heart, there's a missing page
Deep inside my heart, there's a missing page
As you walked the platform in a daze
You swore that sleep was a place we would never reach
[?]
And the things of this world fell away
You showed me empty hands were the only kind that ever prayed

The lyrics TAKING INVENTORY OF A FROZEN LAKE of THURSDAY is also present in the album Taking inventory of a frozen lake (2025)
Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Understanding in a Car Crash", "War All the Time" e "The Kill of Us All".

Do we want to define "I know you know me" a masterpiece? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt for at least two reasons. The first and most evident are the artists who interpret it: Caroline Spence and Matt Berninger, second for the deep and poetic text.
My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
