At the Gates was a melodic death metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden, and considered one of the main progenitors of the Gothenburg death metal sound. Active initially from 1990 to 1996, the band reunited in 2007 for a reunion tour. The last show took place on September 21, 2008, in Athens.
