Finch is an American rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois, in 1998. The group gained popularity in the 2000s with their emo/post-hardcore sound characterized by catchy melodies and introspective lyrics. Finch has released four studio albums: *What We Know to Be True* (2002), *Say Hello to Sunshine* (2003), *The Company of Strangers* (2006) and *Back to Oblivion* (2018). Among Finch's most notable songs are "Letters to You", "Stay the Same" and "What We Know to Be True". After a hiatus in 2007, the band reunited in 2016 for a reunion tour. In 2018 they released their fourth studio album, *Back to Oblivion*. Finch has collaborated with artists such as The Used and Saosin.
