A cloud of hate draws near tonight
I doubt that it will pass
So be prepared and stay out of sight
Tonight's the night for the clash
Society breaks down tonight
Streets are coloured red
Black rain, black hate, black end
The ghost of civilization will ascend
Black rain, black hate, black end
The dust of devastation will descend
A battle cry now breaks the night
As the tragic fight begins
The city streets now a zone for war
A play with death where no one wins
Society broke down tonight
Streets were clouded red
Black rain, black hate, black end
The ghost of civilization will ascend
Black rain, black hate, black end
The dust of devastation will descend
Nasum was a Swedish grindcore band formed in Örebro in 1992 by Anders Jakobson and Rickard Alriksson. The band gained notoriety in the underground metal scene for their aggressive and fast sound, characterized by influences from hardcore punk and death metal. Singer Mieszko Talarczyk, a charismatic and iconic figure in grindcore, contributed to defining Nasum's musical identity with his powerful voice and energetic performances. Among the most representative songs are "Inhale/Exhale", "The End" and "A New Dawn". The band released several albums, including "Helvete" (1996), "Breed" (2000) and "Live in Stockholm" (2003). Tragedy struck the band in 2004 when Mieszko Talarczyk died during the Indian Ocean tsunami. The singer's death marked the end of Nasum, leaving a void in the underground metal scene and an unforgettable memory for its fans.
