Tricky, real name Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws (born in Bristol in 1968), is a British musician known for his experimental and dark musical style. His distinctive voice, often described as a whispered sprechgesang, blends with electronic atmospheres, trip hop and dub reggae influences. Tricky has collaborated with prominent artists such as Massive Attack, Björk and Robert Del Naja (3D) of Massive Attack.
