The three words to remember in dealing with the end

2004

The next best thing

i'm looking forward to another day without you
the way i see it you could never do what i do
i welcomed you with open arms,
you drove the knife write through my heart
so now i'm crossing out the pain that's been tearing us apart.

you were out of sight, now you are out of line
went to your head, now you are left behind.
let me go, can't you see,
you're just the next best thing to me
here i go, honestly,
you're just the next best thing to me

i'm packing up my things and moving on without you,
as far as i can see you'll never do what i do
i'm pushing you away, living out my dreams that you tore down
can't you just swallow up your pride
admit to me, and finally drown.

i think you're in over your head,
choking as the water fills your lungs
can't you see to me you're dead?

you were out of sight, now you are out of line
went to your head, now you are left behind.

let me go, can't you see,
you're just the next best thing to me
here i go, honestly,
you're just the next best thing to me

Thank you because you correct this lyrics

Biografia

All Time Low is an American pop-punk band formed in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland, in 2003. The original lineup consisted of Alex Gaskarth (vocals and guitar) and Jack Barakat (guitar), who later recruited Zack Merrick (bass) and Rian Dawson (drums). Influenced by bands like Green Day and blink-182, All Time Low distinguished themselves for their energetic sound and engaging live shows, often characterized by confetti and beach balls. After playing in local venues on the East Coast and South during school breaks, they released the EP "The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End" in 2004 and the album "The Party Scene" the following year. In 2006, they were signed by Hopeless Records after sharing the stage with bands like Motion City Soundtrack, The Early November, and Plain White T's. Their first album for Hopeless Records was "Put Up or Shut Up", followed by "So Wrong, It's Right" in 2009. Some of All Time Low's most representative songs include "Dear Maria, Count Me In", "Weightless", "Monsters", and "Somewhere in Nevada".
