Nicholas Rodney Drake, known as Nick Drake, was an English singer-songwriter and guitarist born in 1948. His music, characterized by melancholic melodies and introspective lyrics, primarily falls into the folk-rock genre. Drake released three studio albums during his short career: *Five Leaves Left* (1969), *Bryter Layter* (1970) and *Pink Moon* (1972).
