What will you say when the day comes
When it's no fun
When it's all done
When it's no fun
What will you say when the time comes
There's a dry run when it's undone
And there's no one
When it's too much love
Too much love
Too much
It's too much love
Too much love
Too much
What will you do when you wake up
Fatten you up
Fasten you up
Fatten you up
No memories to get cloudy
To get cloudy when you can't see
What you can't see
It's all the same when it's morning
And you're boring
Still ignoring everything
No memories to remind you
Of the old you
Nothing for it
Just keep it up, keep it up
With no memory
With no memory
With no memory
To keep you up at night
LCD Soundsystem is the musical project of James Murphy, an American musician and producer born in New York. Active from 2002 to 2011 and then reformed in 2015, the group blends elements of electronic music, indie rock, and post-punk, creating a unique sound that has been hugely successful both critically and commercially. Murphy, influenced by bands like The Fall and New Order, is known for his energetic performances and introspective lyrics that explore social and personal themes. Among LCD Soundsystem's most representative songs are "Losing My Edge", "All My Friends" and "Dance Yrself Clean". Their self-titled debut album of 2005 is considered a classic of contemporary indie rock, while the subsequent "Sound of Silver" (2007) cemented the group's fame. Murphy is also co-founder of the DFA Records record label, which supports indie dance artists like The Juan MacLean and Hot Chip.
