Carlo Messinese is an Italian singer-songwriter born in San Severo (FG) on July 22, 1984. He began writing poetry at the age of 16, which later transformed into songs. His passion for music led him to perform in local venues with an acoustic guitar and vocals duo. In May 2023, he released his first original song "Meraviglia", marking the beginning of his musical career. Messinese has participated in numerous music festivals, achieving recognition such as the Critics' Award and third place at the Apricena Festival, judged by composer Carmine Padula. He also won the "Il Borgo Talent" competition, securing the production of an original track by a Foggia-based record label and participation in Sanremo Doc. Besides "Meraviglia", he has released other singles like "Fiaba" and "Tu n’es jamais parti", the latter being autobiographical, narrating his father's story as an emigrant to Belgium. His latest single is "Niente".
