Ich habe eine Theorie, doch das Problem daran
ist, daß ich sie beim besten Willen nicht beweisen kann:
Als man dort oben einst vor langer Zeit die Woche erfand,
hat man den größten Teil davon ganz einfach 'Alltag' genannt.
Der Mensch hat dieses schlichte Wörtchen akzeptiert
und sich den Unterschied zum Wochenende definiert:
Von Montag früh bis Freitag spät gibt's nichts als Sorgen und Not,
und man erließ für diesen Zeitraum striktes Lachverbot.
Ich seh' die Leute morgens in der Straßenbahn,
die superschlechtgelaunt zur Arbeit fahr'n.
Wenn sie sich an ihrem eig'nen Kummer weiden,
dann weiger' ich mich, mitzuleiden.
Ich steige aus und geh' zum Lebensmittelladen,
um die schlechte Laune sämtlicher Kassierer auszubaden.
Ich krieg' den Kassenbon und einen Blick voll Verdruß
und sag': "Verzeih'n Sie, daß ich heut' bei Ihnen einkaufen muß!"
Tut mir leid, doch ich bin heute trotzdem gut gelaunt,
und ich kann nichts dagegen machen, muß über alles lachen,
das hört so schnell nicht auf, denn ich bin einfach gut drauf!
Und auf den kultivierten selbstgemachten Alltagsfrust
hab' ich heut' mal wieder einfach keine Lust.
Nur zu leben für die Sonn- und Feiertage kommt für mich nicht in Frage.
Die Leute tragen wohl an einer schweren Last,
ich denk': Mein Gott, hab' ich die Tagesschau verpaßt?
Ist die Lindenstraße abgesetzt worden? Oder gibt's ein neues Robbenmorden?
Ein Blick in die Zeitung zerstreut meine Sorgen:
Es ist nichts passiert, es ist einfach Montagmorgen.
Das Wochenenddessert war wieder süß und zart,
drum ist die Montagskost natürlich doppelt so hart.
