Ensiferum è una band finlandese di folk metal proveniente da Helsinki. Fondata nel 1997, il gruppo si definisce "heroic folk metal", un sottogenere che fonde sonorità melodiche con elementi classici del heavy metal e influenze folcloristiche scandinava. Ensiferum ha pubblicato quattro album in studio, un EP, una compilation, tre singoli e tre demo. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "From Afar", "One Man Army" e "In My Sword I Trust".
