Go!
Forever falling, Into oblivion
The darkness crawls forward
It engulfs, my will to live
Fear is failure
And this is my motivation
Take back what was stolen
Reclaim all that's lost
With virtue, I will rise up from the ruins
C'mon!
Through adversity, there is redemption
With passion, fighting
I am unbroken
Through adversity, there is redemption
With passion, fighting
I am, unbroken!!
Take back what was stolen
Embrace the cycle
Refuse to turn back now and be led astray
Fear is failure
And this is my affirmation
Through adversity, there is redemption
With passion, fighting
I am unbroken
Through adversity, there is redemption
With passion, fighting
Unbroken!!
The absence of fear, is the renewal of ourself
The absence of doubt, breeds desire
If there is truth to face
I will design it
I will not be denied!
Killswitch Engage is a metalcore band formed in Westfield, Massachusetts, in 1999. The band emerged from the ashes of Overcast and Aftershock, featuring Jesse Leach on vocals, Mike D'Antonio on bass, Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz on guitars, and Justin Foley on drums. Their sound, characterized by heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and introspective lyrics, quickly propelled them into the international metalcore scene. After a period of success in the 2000s with albums like "Alive or Just Breathing" (2002) and "The End of Heartache" (2004), the band went through a period of change with Leach's departure in 2002. However, in 2012, Leach returned to the group, marking a new chapter for Killswitch Engage. Among their most representative songs are "My Curse", "Rose of Sharyn", and "In Due Time".
