La Fonky Family is a French hip hop group from Marseille. Composed of four rappers: Le Rat Luciano, Menzo, Don Choa and Sat, the producer Pone, DJ Djel, the dancer Blaze, the singer Karima, Flex (fetus) Nandell and manager Fafa. The group gained widespread popularity in the 1990s with a sound characterized by energetic rhythms and lyrics that reflect the social reality of Marseille's suburbs. Among their most famous songs are "Laisse-moi t'aimer", "J'ai besoin de toi" and "On est ensemble".
