Marteria, real name Marten Laciny, is a German rapper and singer born in Rostock in 1986. Active since 2007, he gained national popularity with his debut album "Marteria" (2010). His musical style is characterized by the use of electronic and hip-hop sounds, often accompanied by introspective and realistic lyrics that address themes such as everyday life, social difficulties and the search for identity. Among his most notable songs are "100%“, “Zum Glück” and “Niemals”. In 2016 he collaborated with Casper for the project "Kontra K" and in 2018 he released the album "Marteria and The B-Boys", a work that marked a turning point towards more experimental sounds. Marteria is considered one of the most influential German hip-hop artists of his generation.
