Eluveitie is a Swiss folk metal band from Bern. Formed in 2002, their sound blends Celtic folk influences with melodic death metal elements. Their debut EP, *Ven*, was released in 2003, followed by the full-length album *Spirit* in June 2006. In November 2007, Eluveitie signed with Nuclear Blast Records.
