Magazin is a Croatian rock band, originally from Yugoslavia, formed in Split in 1979. Considered one of the most important rock bands of the former Yugoslavia, they achieved success in the 1980s with a sound that blended elements of hard rock, pop and new wave. Their musical style was characterized by powerful guitar riffs, catchy melodies and lyrics often in Croatian, but also in English and Serbo-Croatian. Among the band's most famous songs are "Neka ti bude l'sreca", "Svijet u mojim ocima" and "Moja ljubav". Magazin released numerous albums during their career, including "Magazin" (1982), "U srcu je ljubav" (1984) and "Zlatni Magazin" (1986). The band participated in several important music festivals, such as the Sanremo Music Festival in 1985. Despite the group's dissolution in the 1990s, Magazin is still fondly remembered by fans of former Yugoslav rock music.
