Please don't waste your life away like me
Wearing some bloody boots
My sink is full of booze
Flies form around my head
They don't mind that I'm dead
My lonely corpse lays here
A snack for local deer
Someone come find me soon
My smell is worsening
And I don't know how
I somehow wound up here
Alone with nobody and
"Help me, help me"
That's what I should've said
Now I got the worms in my head
And I'm just wasted sorrow
Pills aren't hard to swallow
And I'm just here to say
Please don't waste your life away like me
Only time will tell
If I will burn in hell
Or if I stay right here
And decompose with the years
I miss the warmth of sun
I miss my mothers love
I hate this cold, dark place
That I can't escape
And I don't know how
I somehow wound up here
Alone with nobody and
"Help me, help me"
That's what I should've said
Now I got the worms in my head
And I'm just wasted sorrow
Pills aren't hard to swallow
And I'm just here to say
Please don't waste your life away like me
I'm sorry, I'm sorry
I'm sorry I couldn't love myself
Don't hate me, don't hate me
So sorry I couldn't be around
I'm, I'm just wasted sorrow
Pills that aren't hard to swallow
And I'm, I'm just here to say
Please don't waste your life away like me
And I'm just wasted sorrow
Pills aren't hard to swallow
And I'm just here to say
Please don't waste your life away
Please don't waste your life away like me
Please don't waste your life away like me
Palaye Royale is an American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2008 by brothers Remington Leith (vocals), Sebastian Danzig (guitar) and Emerson Barrett (drums). Initially known as Kropp Circle, they changed their name to Palaye Royale in the summer of 2011, taking inspiration from the Palais Royale ballroom in Toronto where their grandparents first met. The band achieved success with the single "Get Higher", which reached number 27 on the Billboard Modern Rock Charts in 2016. They were also the first independent band to win MTV's March Madness, defeating artists like Linkin Park. Their sound is characterized by a mix of hard rock, glam metal and theatrical influences, with lyrics exploring themes of love, loss, identity and rebellion. Among their most important albums are "Boom Boom Room (Side A)" (2018) and "The Bastards" (2021). Other representative tracks include "Nervous Breakdown", "Madi Gras" and "Lonely Ones".
