The Turtles are an American musical group of the sunshine pop and folk rock genres formed in Los Angeles in 1965. Composed of Howard Kaylan (vocals), Mark Volman (vocals, guitar), Jim Tucker (guitar), and Flo and Eddie (bass and drums). They are best known for their worldwide hit "Happy Together", released in 1967 and remaining at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks.
