Taking Back Sunday is an American emo band formed in Amityville, New York, in 1999. The original lineup consisted of John Nolan (guitar), Eddie Reyes (drums), Fred Mascherino (guitar), and Adam Lazzara (vocals). Their sound, characterized by catchy melodies, introspective lyrics, and intense live energy, helped define the emocore of the 2000s.
