What is this pulling, tugging at me
Limbs so heavy, dragging me down again
Into the depths of cold blue water
But don't believe me, I swear this isn't me
I just want to feel the sunlight warm and soothing on my naked skin
So I'm hoping this cold blue water scrubs me clean
Oh my one, swear I'm trying
What good would it do lying
Oh my one, swear I'm trying
What good would it do lying
Saw something I the shadows
Tricked me into the shallows
Saw something in the shadows
Tricked me into the shallows
What is this pulling
Tugging at my limbs so heavy dragging me down again
So I'm hoping, this cold blue water
Scrubs me clean and spits me out again
Because I just want to feel the sunlight warm and soothing
Oh my one, swear I'm trying
Waht good would it do lying
Oh my one, swear I'm trying
What good would it do lying
Saw something in the shadows
Tricked me into the shallows
Saw something in the shadows
Tricked me into the shallows
Sea Wolf is the musical project of Alex Brown Church, an indie rock singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. After attending film school at NYU, Church founded the group Irving in 1998. Many of the songs he wrote during this period didn't fit the group's style, so he began performing as Sea Wolf with a rotating ensemble of backing musicians, playing locally in Los Angeles and recording demos in Seattle with producer Phil Ek (Band of Horses, The Shins, Fleet Foxes). In 2007, he signed to Dangerbird Records, releasing the EP *Get To The River Before It Runs Too Low* and the full-length album *Leaves In The River*, which reached number 24 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Some of Sea Wolf's most representative songs include *You're a Wolf*, *The Violet Hour*, and *Broken City*.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
